Very tasty American (Louisiana) cuisine. The boss and the service staff are super nice. The food is freshly and quickly prepared. You can sit outside and there is parking. In the middle of the Wallau industrial area. We where there the first time but not the last time.

True to the original, delicious New Orleans Breakfast on some Sundays with New Orleans jazz music or other authentic musical accompaniments for only 5 € admission, one can only recommend it. The staff is very friendly and the chef cooks himself. Only the disposable cups and disposable bottles with water bothered me.

This is one of less than a handful of restaurants within walking distance of my workplace for lunch so I gave it a try, not expecting too much. I found a great, authentic atmosphere, friendly owner, and a delicious freshly-cooked and hand-made Cajun cheeseburger. Can't wait to repeat and try some of the more adventurous Louisiana dishes!

Food was good and the music

This is the single worst dining experience I’ve ever had. We were literally cussed out by the owner and told to leave when I asked about okra! The owner/chef asked us about our food, and my husband inquired about his bowl of gumbo. The menu states that it is Chicken, Sausage, and Okra Gumbo. His bowl only had chicken in it. The owner said he makes his gumbo with chicken and okra, and I merely stated that our bowl of gumbo didn’t have any pieces of okra in it. It wasn’t even a complaint—just an observation. The owner became furious and told us if we didn’t like his gumbo, to “Get the f*** out!!!” He went on a tirade and yelled for at least 20 seconds. It was insane. The sweet waitress who was working had a very apologetic look on her face—I felt badly for her. When my husband told him that his behavior was rude and unacceptable, the owner refused to apologize. As for the quality of the food, the crawfish etouffee was only decent (it had a strange flavor to it, like pickle juice), but the gumbo had good flavor. The prices were too high for the quality and portion sizes, though. Our lunch of 1 bowl of gumbo, 1 crawfish etouffee, and 2 waters cost €29. The portion sizes were much smaller than expected given the price. Needless to say, we will never give this place our business again.

Clear recommendation, if you prefer to go to the yellow 'M' in the opening hours is your own fault.
